I notice when I use TH3 standalone I can resize the window. When I resize the window within Sonar, the available real estate doesn't increase.

It would be nice if it did. TH3 can need a big window.

Works fine for me in Studio One 3, Platinum and REAPER, can make it as big as I like, I usually like it about 3/4 screen size or there about

Since they'll be introducing a TH3 SONAR edition...     is the expandable dialog only in the VST3 version?

The size of TH2 in Sonar much depends on what was size of TH2 standalone last used. Overload claims with TH3 you can have any size you like, regardless standalone or not.

That is my experience with either TH2 or TH3, you can have it as you like as a plugin, as you can standalone.

I don't believe there is a vst3 version, I certainly don't have one and the spec's only mention vst

Windows System Compatibility
TH3 is available as VST, RTAS (ProTools) and AAX64 (ProTools 10 and 11) plugins, as well as a standalone application.
32bit and 64bit are natively supported.

And TH2 always had the resizing ability and it was only vst2

TH3 doesn't have a maximize button when running as a VST but can be resized by dragging the bottom right corner. Dragging any other corner will only change the size of the plugins host window.

I'll try again. Sounds like I'm just doing it wrong.

Yes you drag the bottom right hand corner that has the little ripple lines on it so your fingers don't slip.

Works like a charm. So what does this mean? I was grabbing the X and Y handles separately rather than grabbing the single XY handle. Interesting.

I'm glad to be able to resize it now.
