Well Ni said there drivers work well with windows 10,  but you got to somehow get it installed on your windows 10 computer I was told, apparently windows 10 installs it own anti virus programs and they need to be disable and basically I was told to go into my task manager and disable all anti virus programs. Not that easy , Defender is a pain that needs to go right away and I still can not get the driver to install , Yes I ran it as an Admin but nothing.
Help at NI is not to good , Im kinda rushed off the phone , Im just told what could be the problem instead of trying to help me out.  Right NOW I have to say NI Hardware is not windows 10 compatible. If so one would have instructions to load the drivers in windows 10 or a driver software thats W10 installable.
Any Ideas I have a paper weight of a keyboard. :(
 Thanks John

So walk us through the installation process and tell us what is happening.. Exact warning messages etc.

What antivirus software do you have installed? (Btw I don't buy this).

Make sure keyboard is turned off when you do it.

Ta.

Thanks Alex for helping Out..
Ok I dont have any anti virus software on my Daw, that i purchased , I very rarely go online only to get updates.
So after installing W10 My Komplete Kontroll, NI Machine and my Roland Gaia all stopped working , So I went to device manager and when I turned on the device It came up with the yellow exclamation mean no driver.
So My main concern was Komplete Kontroll I re-downloaded the driver from NI unzipped it , Turned off KK and right clicked the .exe and ran as Admin and uninstalled the old driver, I re-did the same process to install the driver , turned off KK, and ran as Admin. Prior to that In the search bar I typed windows defender opened the app and disabled it along with cloud base tab.
Still nothing I even restarted W10 and looked into my task manager for any other virus protection software I did have maleware bytes but not sure if thats giving me the problem as I have had that pre W10 ..  So thats basically where Im at Now . Thanks Again...

So you downloaded the latest driver and firmware from NI's site?
The install completed but it does not work?

What was the version of the driver and please state model of keyboard.

Right now do you still have yellow exclamation marks?
What happens if you delete the yellow exclamation marks (select and hit delete button) and restart your PC, are they still there afterwards?

I did some google searches have come up with nothing so far...

Had another thought. You might have drivers in the windows program list for devices you don't own. Remove them as well..

Did you delete them (the devices with yellow exclamation marks) first before you rebooted?
If that didn't work, if you right click them and look at properties what does it say?

Then try changing the USB socket perhaps.

If that does not work try this:

Otherwise it might be good to provide a screenshoot the "toast" notification.

Have a look at the windows event viewer for issues:

And is there anybody else running this software?
