I've had discussions with the folks at Cakewalk about making SONAR more accessible. They are aware of this need, and are exploring various options (as am I). They'd love for me to do some more videos like the Advanced Workshop ones, but on a more basic level. It's something I'd really like to do, but there's this little company in Tennessee that keeps me very busy...

I'm glad to hear this, Craig... I have a very dear friend who is no idiot (creates a weekly 1 hour weekly radio show, RadioEcoshock who bought into Sonar X3pro but could never get the hang of it and ended up with Ableton... Hopefully the online help/bubbles will make it easier or what would be fantastic would be a Natural Language google like query bar/space where I could type in my question/how do I... and it would display a raft of options to click for details... (which can be displayed on a separate screen, if desired... and I would!)
 
I know this would be a challenge, and every word of the huge manual would have to be tagged as searchable but I would hope algorithms are now advanced enough to wittle down searches just by inputting enough words...
 
Every one of us (except you and Scook) don't know half of what can be done as it's soooo complex... so a search query system would be awesome
