For some odd reason..  I still can't seem to install the 64 bit hot fix of Rapture 1.2.2 on my system.  The 32 bit version, installs just fine.  But, when I try to install the 64 bit version, the installer can not find my previous install, and won't let me proceed!

I've called support numerous time, and lol, I'm about to call again.  I just want to see, if anyone else on the forum had this problem, and maybe has this problem solved.

Hewlett Packard = brand new! Windows 7 home premium, 6 gigs ram.  1 terrabyte hd, 7200 rpm

It's been awhile, but I think I installed a full (not hotfix) 1.20 or 1.21 update prior to the hotfix in order to get the 64-bit version installed, then you install the hotfix to update to 1.22.  I do remember there was instructions for it, so look around for a read-me file or something like that.  That should explain the process in more detail. 

Yep, that's what I've been doing.  I've tried so many different combinations, all with the same result..  no 1.2.2 hot fix.

I've tried.. 1.2.0 32bit, 1.2.0 64bit, 1.2.1 32/64..  I've tried them both 64 and 32 only.  I've followed the directions.

and frankly, 64 bit 1.2.0 loves to crash renoise, so if I can't get the hot fix, than the synth is pretty useless to me.

which totally sucks, cause the synth is my main instrument.  everything I do in my music nowadays.. revolves around rapture.. arrg!  why does it have to be so buggy?  not fare!

I've checked my Rapture install file.

Latest version is 1.2.2

Hotfix is 1.2.1.

According to my installation note,

X1 comes with Rapture LE 1.2.2

If you upgrade to full Rapture, then install Rapture 1.2.1 first, then only install version 1.2.2.

I've always had the full version of Rapture..   I bought it within a month or two of its release.  When it was brand spanking new.

What I'm finding is that the full installer is 1.2.0, and 1.2.1 is a hotfix, and 1.2.2 is another hot fix.

Its a total disaster, I just can't get it to install properly on this brand new computer of mine.  No matter what I do.

I hope that Rapture 1.2.3 comes with a new and complete installer!!

Version 1.2.2 isn't a hotfix.

Ok, but either way, I cant get that version installed.  And I'm stuck using 32 bit Rapture, on a windows 7 machine

 Hi, I wonder about this because I uninstalled Rapture 32 & x64 & then reinstalled just Rapture x64 today. I did Rapture 1.10, then 1.2, 1.21 and finally 1.22 all in a matter of minutes with zero problems at all, on my Windows 7 64 Bit machine. First I fired it up as a DXI, stand alone, and then after I fired it up in Sonar X1d as an insert, it asked for my reg code, and boom, all done! Perhaps I can help. Feel free to PM me. James
