Hi,
I am using CAKEWALK SONAR X2 producer ,Windows 7, i7 processor,Focusrite audio interface etc...
 
I recently wanted to work on an old project from a different workspace (H drive) other than the default workspace (C drive).
 
I opened it and everything seems to work fine,
 
Then I noticed that the individual track name from the track view is not displayed.The text box is itself not displayed, tried creating new track,deleting, or duplicating a track and no use....
 
But its visible from the console.
 
Then I tried panning a track, left or right,,,no use
but faders are working perfectly....
 
This is annoying,please help...

Did you look above the track area controls? There's a drop down menu that can be all/custom/mix/etc... Maybe something got changed? (These used to be referred to as tabs)

...just a thought. It would affect the TV and not the CV...

Have you set the output to an available audio-interface?
Maybe one of the outputs is set to an dead bus.
Sonar reacts very strange, when 1 track is routed to a dead bus or audio-interface.

Hi,
I checked it out and I think the issue si with the bus....
When I open this faulty project,I got the pop-up that the Master is assigned to a silent hardware...
The issue is, in the Master track, I am unable to see the IN/OUT (just above the track name) drop-down as I see in the other projects...So I had added a send to the available output device...

I tried deleting the send but the app crashes in all the attempts....

Could you help me solve this issue??
I need to bring back the IN/OUT drop down

The name isnt displayed coz I minimized the horizontal length of the portion...

What about Pan?  did you get that to work?
