I am trying to freeze my GPO samples on a track in Sonar 8.5 but there is little volume.  I can kinda make it out if I crank the volume.  Otherwise do I just give it 24dB of gain?  I've read over how to freeze a track dozens of times and can't for the life of me see what I am missing.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I assume GPO means Garritan Personal Orchestra. I have an older version so I'm speculating the newer version acts the same. Garritan uses the mod wheel for volume control, during freeze it is probably at zero hence the low volume.

experiment with inserting a CC1 (mod wheel) at 127, a CC7 (volume) at 127 and a CC11 (expression) at 127.   If those three don't help, move on to CC16 -- at one time the Garriton products used that controller, don't know if they do still.

That makes sense! I will confirm my CC! setting and add the other controllers and see what happens.

Finally tried it and it worked!  I just changed CC1 and 7 to 127. Thanks to all who pointed this out.
