Living Room Rocker
Hi Everyone, I was looking to buy one of the DSF expansion packs for DPro. However, there are no sample to listen to and I cannot judge the quality or likeability of the sounds. Can anyone give me some feed back on Vol 2, "Classic Key?" Thanks in advance.

There is a demo available : http://www.store.cakewalk.com/b2cus/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=10-DSD21.00-20E

Vol 2 has these 11 categories :

2) combinations (33 programs, of mixed type, voices, epiano+voice, clavi, etc..)

3) effects (28 programs, for movies, sci fi, space, machine, etc)

4) ele. pianos (30 programs of various tines, chimes, rhodes, wurlizer, suitcase.. demo 3rd song)

5) electro mechanical (14 programs of clavi and clavi+voices, wah clavi)

6) grand piano (19 programs of various pianos.. concert/honky/etc.. but you probably have a preferred piano module already)

7) organ (23 programs of various organs, some cool organs in the demos)

8) strings (22 strings programs of various attacks, for background, some with voices.. not for orchestra scoring)

9) synth basses (39 programs of various tecno/dance bass.. no real bass here)

You can hear the demo on the Digital Sound Factory site:

I have this expansion pack, and I must say, it's VERY good. I use it a lot for old-school keyboard sounds.
