I just bought the DSF Film Score expansion pack for Rapture LE. Seemed to load just fine but I get the error message "multisample not found" for every patch I've tried. Any suggestions? Thanks! Mel

needless to say, Cakewalk sample based synths are very picky about where you install samples. Did you use default location during install? If you picked custom location, is it in the same location as the stock multi-samples for rapture le?

... and sometimes you can't change where they install if you wanted.

I've found that some of the multi-samples are installed at C:\Multisamples - or some place like that.

I don't remember if this pack is like that, but I had to copy some of the expansion packs to the 'correct' folder.

Mine are located here:

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples\Digital Sound Factory Filmscore

You might need to use F5 to refresh the program listing after you move.

The expansion pack is in the same location as all my other Rapture programs. It shows up in the browser; the sample sizes are indicated; the total file size is what it should be. Everything looks good until I try to load a preset. Same result whether I try to load from the browser or bring it in through the "load program" function. My default location when I installed Rapture was C:\Program Data\Cakewalk\Rapture LE... Any other ideas? Thanks! Mel

The expansion pack probably consists of a set of programs plus a set of multisamples.  You mentioned that the programs seem to be in the correct folder, but what about the multisamples?

Found them! Didn't install where I expected and now I've moved them and they work fine. Still something of a newby when it comes to this stuff. Thanks! Mel

yea, sometimes an installer will put the multisamples in the wrong folder.  Sometimes it will tell sonar to look in the generic multisample folder but it gets put into a "specific" multifolder (I've done that manually).
