Sorry, attachments was not visible in that board without registration. My bad, corrected now. Why no one has complained before?

Just to be sure you are going to use the latest test version of plug-in, there is direct link to it: http://www.azslow.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=28

Without LaunchKey device, the only effect from preset for it is transport audition. But that way you can test that my approach is working for you. You should hear "Stop"/"Play"/"Rec".

For Faderport I have normal preset. We can add audition to it.

I can not recommend any particular controller, as I wrote before that depends from your preferences. With Motor faders there are only BCF, MCU, XTouch, Faderport and discontinued Alphatrack. If you can find cheap second hand Alphatrack, it has more controls then Faderport and it has touch sensitive encoders. I have good normal preset for it as well. Since it also has a display, I can redirect output from display to TTS in short time.

Without any hardware requirements, if you think that can be useful and have time to test the result, I can create a preset for audition. For example: transport changes, track name on track focus change, mute, solo, arm changes for track in focus, markers when now time is changed, everything can be transport mode dependent so it does not disturb music output in Play or Rec.

I'd be happy to help you out with the concept of no hardware control.  I am home 24/7 basically.    ALso, when you say "Transport control", what exactly do y ou mean?  I only ask, so I'm not  confused.     I"ll look for an Alphatrack, but the Fader Port will be one if the first things I try, unless I'm l.,ucky.    Sorry for asking so much, but re-learning how to do things is so difficult.    Thank you for your time.  Hopefully we can come up with something for the blind and visually impaired.  I know a few other blind musicians.

I have uploaded the preset: http://www.azslow.com/index.php/topic,277.0.html

By transport I mean play, stop, record.

Let me know in case you can not get it running or want some changes. We can organize "support" tomorrow then. I can modify the preset remotely on your system using TeamSpeak with immediate effect, that will not take much time.

only thing I'm seemingly having troub.e with is selecting the control surface from Edit > Preferrences > Control Surfaces.   NVDA is not giving me a selection to choose from.  Wonder if it's even there LOL or am I supposed to look elsewhere?  I see the plugin for EZController under Utilities > Plugin Manager > Control Surfaces .

There is a button "Add new controller/surface" over the top right corner of the list. It is small squad with stern inside, there is also delete button in the near, with the same design. May be that is why NVDA can not spot it.

I found the buttons,  Added EZ Controller, but when I'd go to select the in port and out port to "None",  Once I clicked "OK", they ports would default to my MIDI controller.   With this in mind, I went to the Utilities menu and selected EZ Controller 1, and from the drop down list, I selected the "Audition" file, Problem was, when I'd tab to the buttons (which they don't tell me what they are), I  couldn't find an actual way to close out, but when I pushed CTRL+Tab to move to the next window, if there was one, SOnar would crash.  Anyways, I deleted the controller from Preferrences, tried again about 2 or 3 times,  and now I have 4 "EZ Controller" options in Utilities, but when I try to select one, they won't load and will just take me back to the main Sonar screen.

You can not select None once the plug-in is added. You can do this only when you add new instance, in the Add dialog there is separate selection.
4 instances is bad, you should remove them. Select one by one in the Control Surfaces Sonar preferences and click on delete button, which is near add. They should disappear for the Utilities menu then.

Crash of Sonar with this controller and preset combination when you switch to another program most probably comes from the audio setting. SAPI5 TTS works with default Windows Audio Device. I have not made that configurable. So, normal windows audio like YouTube or Media Player should work in parallel with Sonar. Also Sonar should not share the interface, there is an option for that in Sonar Preferences.

Could you really hear anything? You at least had to get the word "Stop" once preset is loaded.

I have just tested 2 instances of AZController with Audition preset loaded. Works as expected, with sometimes doubling messages but without crashes.

I understand that all is not so easy to test for you, so again, let us use TeamSpeak or at least Skype to sort that out.

I don't have Skype on my PC, but I do on my phone.  I also have TeamViewer and Facebook.

I figured it out and I can safely say that you can use SAPI5 with NVDA in parallel with Sonar.   It seems to be using the same preset settings I have setup in NVDA as the settings for the TTS with Sonar.  Now, I just gotta figure out how to navigate Sonar better with the keyboard.  I figured out how to select and arm tracks and of course P;ay/Stop/Rec.  They are coming in just fine.

I wanted to tell you that I cannot send private messages just yet, but that should open up this evening here.  Anways, the plugin is working fine.  Only other thing I can think of is to figure out how to tell when clipping is taking place and where.  Some form of a level read-out.   Anyways, I wanted to let you know that I'm available to help you today come up with the game controller solution that we talked about the other eday.   Thanks again for your help.
