Hi,

A handful of us at Cakewalk weighed in on our favorite SONAR features this year. Click on each person to read more comments and we'd love to hear what your favorite features were as well. Please share here on this thread!

imo, there's really too many to list.  But a snappier, more solid software program kind of is always there, even if I mention something else first.  The fact that there are "so many" might be my favorite, as it shows the strong interest in keeping the product as best it can be.  Hopping on Win10 compatibility quickly was nice to see.  I've used the drum replacer, vocal align and the style dials... items I didn't think I'd need, but are now great to use.  Live synth recording has been great!  Patch points too.

First off I think the design team deserves major kudos. That's a very impressive track record. You can all look back on it and be very proud.
I love all the fixes under the hood. I confess I haven't used all of the features. The vocal alignment tool is wonderful. Drum replacement along with the ARA improvements are major leaps ahead.

Plug-in upsampling is one of those things that I didn't know I needed. I love it. All of the additions and improvements to the PC making it more and more a go to.

We have a better midi engine. I love the improvements to the workflow in working with midi, the routing enhancements in audio....the entire list is staggering.

GREAT JOB GUYS!!! I'm proud to be a Sonar user!!

Am downloading Lexington. Can't believe how well Cakewalk have kicked Sonar into shape this year. X3 was so good I almost decided I would never upgrade again- just keep a solid static system... But Sonar2015 is snappier, more reliable, has new useability and music creation features that are now crucial. So after 12 updates  I'm not asking "will i get another 12 months?" but "I wonder what they will give us over the next year?" . Even the Year in Review page is terrific!

I would say that the "under the hood" things have been my favorite this year. I cannot seem to break it
This has been a great year to be SONAR user.
All the best to the Bakers, and the rest of you fellow SONARians.
Merry Christmas

Unfortunately I like just about everything CW added to Sonar during this year. If I were made to pick just one feature that has the most impact to me it would be Mix Recall and the enhancements CW gave it. I see it as a stunning feature that has enormous application. The real problem is that pick is unfair for I love the new start screen for example. Its a pleasure to use, now. The list that CW has in the improvements is long and all are useful. Thus its hard to pick only one. The fact they pulled it off as they have is also stunning. Not one time did they postpone an update or disappoint us. The on screen keyboard is another nice addition.

Lets just say thank you to a team that made magic happen and we saw it being done. Wow!
