greetings everyone, is there a way to download (or see) any of the owners manuals for the nomad factory plugins that came with sonar platinum?
i have contacted nomad, however, their answer to this is quite vague, they said to download which ever plugin i want to use but not install it, just install the man manual. this is impossible unless one "buys" it first. (i think)
does anyone have any ideas?

No help here, but I will say when they first came out there was a very extensive video about them on Cake's Youtube channel. 

Here are two links to messages pointing to the user manual from Nomad Factory (that must be extracted from their plugins download) and a document listing the features of each plugin by fellow member Transcending Music.
 
I have the manual "NomadFactory_UserManual_v4.pdf" which I think I got when I purchased the Pulsetec EQ (but the manual covers a large number of plugins).  The information describes what each control does, but nothing more.

That entire series is brilliant. I was quite surprised to see Streamworks uploaded it in it's entirety to youtube.
 
The one Karl did on the Producer FX and the other on Instruments are just as thorough and informative.
 
Honestly I would not know half the crap I do if it werent' for Karl and his vids.
 
Now I will shut up lest he thinks I have an unnatural mancrush on him.

Are you having trouble with the file you downloaded or are you referring to the plugins?  When you are having trouble, it is always better to provide as much information as you can.
