I have not installed anything new in the last several weeks. All of a sudden, SONAR freezes when scanning VSTs on the Melodyne dll file. The background dialog for the VSTs goes away and only the scan bar with the DLL names is present.
 
Thoughts? I haven't gone through all of the libraries to see which one is causing the freeze yet. Not having fun right now...

for some reason, it was the melodyne dll file. All of a sudden it is causing the scan to lock up. I renamed it and the scan completed. The VST3 version is in the list.
 
Reinstalling all the waves plugs to do another scan and make sure they  scan good.
 
Sometimes it is an easy fix. I am not used to the obvious. It is usually some obscure issue. I hope that it is that simple.  :)
