I just notied another update for windows 10 that was for the Flash player. Perhaps this corrects the original problem.
 
I'm not using win10 on my daw or I would test it. Just thought I would point out this win10  update.

This fix is not working for me.
 
Getting this error now:
 
CakewalkStartScreen.exe
An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.
Click Retry to try again...
 
And can not install or rollback. Sonar does not work now either...

It can mean CakewalkStartScreen.exe is running. Check the Windows task manager and kill the process or reboot before running the Command Center again.

Ack - sorry I forgot to update this thread last week.
 
We have published a working version now, no need to use the version I linked. Just follow C3's update prompt.

This sounds like a different issue - did you have SONAR open when trying to install? If it was you'll want to close it. If not do scook's suggestion. It sounds like it may not have closed/exited.
