I too am having the problem Toit described. I am running Win10 Home on a new computer. I get an error when trying to install Sonar Platinum saying that CC stopped working, and Win needed to close it. I sure hope someone will find a solution to this and share it with us!
Edit: I tried the CC link in the post above, and that didn't seem to fix the problem.

Hey,
have you checked to see if any of your packages have downloaded and are now ready to install?
I had stops as well but then I checked and many packages where ready to install...

Hi! I actually got it to work! I checked Win update and I saw that I had some pending updates to install. When I installed the updates, restarted and let Win do its thing, I tried CC again and it finally worked! I don't know if this will help anyone else, but it seems like I maybe had some Win files missing or something (because of new computer).

Edit: I am happy to see some other people got it to work with the CC update!

I had the same problem, and I was very pleased to find the solution already available! Rapture Pro downloading now with no problem. Thanks for the quick turnaround, Willy and other Cakewalk folks!

+1 for Willy and team, -1 for Microsoft. C3 1.1.2.4 solved my problem too when upgrading from X3 to Platinum (after a recent 'final' install of Windows 10 64-bit). Hey Willy, would you mind looking at another vendor's ASIO driver next? It is now in BSOD mode after this latest 'gem' from Microsoft .

Had the same crashes, but 1.1.2.4 Seems to be working for me, too.

Thank you!!!

I opened a recent project, and XLN Addictive drums wouldn't load ... informing me that there was a "computer ID" issue, and that I needed to run the installer again.

I went to command center to do so, and ... BAM. I suddenly gained membership to this group. :D

While you may be experiencing an the Command Center issue. The AD problem needs to be resolved with the XLN installer not Cakewalk Command Center.

Hi Willy and others,

I installed 1.1.2.4 and now the command center is working.  However, I'm getting another error message now:

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum\Stretch.ax
Unable to register the DLL/OCX:RegSvr32 failed with exit code 0x3

So SONAR is having a problem registering the files now.  HELP!
