  • How to zoom in/out horizonally with mouse wheel? [resolved]

So far i have figured out the following:
Mouse wheel only - scrolls all tracks vertically
+ shift - scrolls vertically in big steps
+ ctrl - scrolls/moves all tracks horizontally
+ shift + ctrl - scrolls/moves horizontally in big steps
+ alt - zooms in horizontally and vertically at the same time on all tracks simultaneously
+ alt + ctrl - shifts dB scale of selected track

I have not found a way to use the mouse wheel to zoom in horizontally.
When fixing live tracks I zoom in and out a lot.

Enable Track View -> Options -> Mouse Wheel Zoom Options -> Simultaneous Horizontal and Vertical Zoom, and Alt+Wheel will be doing it.

OK, got it.
Disable "Simultaneous H & V Zoom", then
Ctrl + Alt makes Mousewheel zoom horizontally.

Ah, ok, I'm sorry, I was not quite right.
But I use it another way. I use it enabled and with Vertical Zoom Factor = 1, in this case Alt+Wheel does Horizontal zoom, and I sacrifice vertical zoom by wheel, because I usually don't need it. And in this case I use my additional mouse button for Alt, and I can zoom horizontally only by mouse, without keyboard.

That's also an idea. I'll try that, see how I like it.
I forgot to say thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

There's also a mouse that has a horizontal wheel btw.
