I just noticed that my Sonar Platinum is saving audio files from all the projects into a single audio data folder since the past few months. Earlier, each project used to have its own Audio Data folder. This was clean for making backups or porting specific projects to a different workstation. I am wondering if there is a way to revert back to the old style of saving projects.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Rishi, this is what I´m  missing also.
If I remember right,  in the Sonar preferences
once was the choice to "create and save tracks aso in the project folder".
Now I have to create a project folder and to link the project to this  folder.

Anybody  knows a better way to handle this?

When you create a New Project File, once you provide the Name of the Project in the "Name", by default Location and Audio path are assigned to Cakewalk\Project..
Click on the BOX(with ...) beside the Location, where you can define the path/location of the project. If you select another drive the location automatically makes it as Drive:\ProjectName you have given. and similarly audio path becomes Drive\ProjectName\Audio.

Also if you want your projects should be in a specific drive/location you can define it through menu
Edit-Preferences-File-Folder Location >> Project Files.

Thanks
