Hello everyone, I have made some progress and hit a snag. I can now program a loop, but when I try to copy and paste it, something is always wrong. There is always a gap at the beginning or at the end which means nothing lines up properly. These gaps appear whenever I copy/paste something. I just programed the same beat twice and it sounds fine when I play it but there is a weird gap after a beat at the beginning, so when I copy/paste, it doesn't line up and I miss a beat.  couldn't solve the problem after the first time, so I deleted it and started over but it did the same weird thing twice. In short, I cannot attach grooves together, which is useless. I resigned to the fact that this program will not edit drums the way I want so I went ahead and programmed the verse and chorus together hoping I can at least get this program to repeat it 4 times but I am ambitious. Thank you.

Make sure you have snap turned on.

It is easier to align things when copying and pasting if you stretch the clip so that it starts on the first beat of a measure. Just grab the left edge of the clip and drag it left. This assumes that the first hit is starting after the first beat. If the first hit starts before the first beat, it will be difficult to align things when copying and pasting and you'll have to do it by hand.

If you are pasting one clip multiple times, stretch the clip to the right as well so that it is a whole measure in length.

Dan
