First of all i wanna wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy & healthy new year !!
 
I already spook about this bug but it's really getting on my nerve so i really need to adress it
 
Each time i wanna double click to rename un  track it only happen the second time i do it ....

 
Any input welcome , it's not happening in X1 so my system is ok ;)

Works perfectly here but I always do a slow double-click.

Me too and it works here as well. 

i checked double clikc options in windows , it's only hapening in platnum ....x1 is solid in this area (not only this one)  
And i really don't know where to look at now , i tried everything !!! usually before posting i go deep before ....
 
Gustabo & John , slow double click ? because it's basically like selecting the track and double clicking witch works , i have to select the track first then double click , can't double click  straight on it  ..

Ok i cheked even super slow double click and no way !!!

Could have the track locked? 

Did a quick test (project was 1 audio / 4 midi tracks):
 
Project stopped (no playback): double click works fine on all tracks.
 
Project playing: midi track with no clips does rename on 2nd double click, other tracks works fine.
 
Try renaming your tracks when your project is not playing.

Select track A
then double clikc on track B name ...and see

I tried on my laptop and all is working ok .....so i was llike , Zo don't panic ther's some that you rlaptop don't have that desk have linked to channels , and yep : CONTROLE SURFACES !!
 
Errased all control surfaces : working great
 
introduced one by one , everything working until : VS 700 C !!! 
 
With the VS 700 c Seleted , it's doing it !! the fing is that i tried every options of pref Controls surface (display poisition opr not , concole track , ect)  nothing
 
it's defenitly a bug , i do'nt feel like Cake will give a F ...about that one .... will call tomorow to see

Depends on whether the problem relates to V-studio (which they don't control) or SONAR (which they do).
