How do I add (-T) ARTIST and ALBUM tags to a FLAC export?

I use mediamonkey after the export.

Me too, but I was thinking it shouldn't be too difficult to configure Sonar to do it for me. :-)

Found it: Edited the registry (at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CakewalkExtAudioEncoders\{...}) Changed the CommandLine key to: flac -8 -o %O %I -T ARTIST=Trojka -T ALBUM=Mixes :D

Rather than directly editing the registry, I believe you could have used Utilities > External Encoder Configuration Utility

Hey, you're right. I'm old fashioned, I guess. :-)

I wish there was a way to add tags to a FLAC or MP3 file from the filename. That would eliminate several other processes and save lots of time. Tag & Rename has an option to derive tags from the filename, using wild cards. It would be great if a similar feature was in Sonar. Perhaps there is already some way to do this, but I couldn't figure it out.
