0% to 100% is great. However, frequently what's being controlled by the knobs I add to FX chains is something in terms of dB. Threshold and gain are the two most common. For example, say I've got a threshold knob on a plugin that I'm adding to an FX Chain and it goes from 0 dB to -60 dB. It would be great to be able to define that 0% = 0 dB and 100% = -60 dB for the corresponding knob on the FX Chain, because, in this scenario, the value -30 dB would be a lot more meaningful than the value 50%.
 
It would also be great to be able to chose to have values display for FX Chain knobs all the time, rather than just when a knob is being turned or the mouse is hovering over it.
