Didn't Cakewalk used to have these FX plugs listed on their shop for free, or super cheap?

They became free at some point, but I actually bought them back in '09 when they dropped the price to something pretty low.

I grabbed them when free as well, but only got a serial number for one set. I never actually installed them so not sure if the S/N was necessary.

My guess is we all got the same serial number (I may be wrong, of course).

I think you may be right on that. I checked the zipped installer last night and the serial number was included in a text file in the installer package.

I actually checked my account again. Initially FX1 and FX3 had said something like "Out of Serial Numbers" and now they are not even listed in my account at all. Ironically, I still have the FX2 disk that came with my Guitar Studio way back when (1998, I believe).

Thanks everyone.  I downloaded and selectively installed the FX from SONAR X2 and I'm up and running, using X3 32-bit to process and remix that old bass sound and import into SPLAT 64.
