hello I'm trying to use sonar to records tape cassette to wav
I can see the meter from track one moving and it records the audio but I can't hear anything coming out when I plug the headset to my font audio sound card
 
but after I finish recording and play it again I can hear it what i'm doing wrong ?

I have just entered "Font Audio" into my favorite search engine, nothing came up, so I don't know how your sound card works.
 
But you could activate "Input Echo". That's the little button in the Track View section that has a little dot with 3 waves going off to the right.

yeah it was a typo I mean front audio jack from sound card I hear nothing and the meter of the master track doesn't move when I records :-)

Does your sound card not have a knob marked "Direct" or "Monitor" or something like that?
Sometimes there is a button that needs to be pushed in to activate it.
Then you get latency-free monitoring.
The Echo button sends it back through the system, so there is always a short added delay to the sound.
Not that it matters in your case, I guess...
