The freezing function in Sonar could have some more options and possibilities.
 
The freezing function always freezes the complete virtual instrument and all related tracks to them. After the freeze, the VSTi will be unloaded. I would wish to freeze only one specific track of a multi VSTi. I want to have the option, to unload the VSTi or not.
 
Freezing only clips or regions would be very nice and was a feature recently presented by Cubase as "Render in place", but it's also available in other DAWs like Studio-One.
Very often I only want to freeze a specific part of track in my arrangement.
 
Freezing in Sonar could be overall more flexible.
 
I want to vote for Freezing Reloaded in Sonar.
