you will want to use whichever device has the better convertors, for the last in line piece.
 
of course,
deciding which unit has the better convertors may be strictly academic.

your trade off will be whichever one has the best (and lowest noise) converters vs. whichever has the better preamps.

I hope to get it setup this weekend. Got a session tomorrow.
I do have the 4x4 up and running in Win10. I got a deal because the seller only knew enough to see if it lit up. So far I see no issues at all.
