If Skylight is the issue, no problem. I have configured CbB to look and work exactly like 8.5. you would hardly know the difference, except the colors are different.

Awesome! Could you please share the theme? Or point me where can I get it? Man, I love that color scheme.
Thanks a lot!

It's not a theme, it's how you configure it. All you have to do is minimize some windows you don't use, configure the various views (staff, event, prv etc) to be the size you want, undock them, put them where you want (so you can still see the time ruler, track list etc), and you're in business. You can easily configure keyboard shortcuts also so you just hit "s" and up comes staff view, in exactly the right place and the right size. you x out of it to get back to straight track view. You give your tracks whatever color you want. I color them by type. Woodwinds, green, brass red, for example. It's all very easy to do.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it appears we have experienced a drive-by punkin.

Well, it's better than harmonicas. They blow and suck.

I can't help but feel some of the posts on this forum are either by the competition or
by the fanboys of other DAWs who don't want to see Cakewalk have a successful relaunch.

Personally I would love to see much tighter regulation of troll-y posts
so that actually musicians and engineers can get back to what really matters.

One of the things I like about the Cakewalk community is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's fun and entertaining. Sometimes the trolls add to that and sometimes they need deleting. I have experienced quite a few DAW forums and this one is the most fun and friendly of them all and I think that keeps it popular and active.
