What's in the background - behind Rapture Pro?  Doesn't look like my SONAR GUI....

This came up a while ago. Since Cakewalk markets synths for use in other hosts, some shots show those other hosts. I forget which one that was purported to be - maybe Logic...?

It is an image of Rapture Pro running on a Mac. The DAW is the background is Logic Pro.

Logic Pro is to the Mac as SONAR is to Windows - optimized for a specific platform. The programs are quite alike in many ways...Logic is what I use on the Mac, although admittedly, I don't use the Mac much for audio.

Rest assured it works on SONAR too. But yes, we want to market our synths to the Mac market as well. I do see Logic and SONAR as comparable as they focus on the Mac side and we focus on the Windows side.

I don't mean to complain as I'm quite set on Sonar and not about to switch to Apple but Logic has a LOT more fully integrated in-house development - a vast array of softsynths and high quality fx plugins, flextime/pitch, etc. I like Sonar a lot but the nature of the scheme - bundling quality third party content - makes the whole experience different from Logic, to me.
