For user IRs, I continue to rely on MMultiBandConvolution which is often on sale for 50% off. No special import process, the plug-in reads IRs from OS folders.

There you go... form over function. I think Rematix looks great. But this MMultibandConvolution plugin looks practical with a slightly dull (almost Reaktor style) UI. I'm seriously considering purchasing this thanks Scook.

Yes, rename or delete "C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Overloud\REmatrix Solo\userIRs.rir"
An empty file will be created the next time the plug-in is launched.

For the curious, the file is a sqlite3 database.

Yeah, I went so for as to download a browser for sqlite databases. I didn't find it helpful, probably due to my own ignorance about the formats of these kinds of databases.

IIRC, browsing the database is not much different than using the menu provided by Overloud. The layout is pretty simple. I looked at it when it first came out and went back to using MMultibandConvolution for user IRs.

I did the same thing. I have the full version. The factory db has a number of fields that the user db doesn't have, one of which was something like 'bank' which has categories like voices, drums, etc. I was thinking I might be able to 'edit' the user db, but it doesn't look like you have all the fields.

Well I hope overloud is watching this thread. No response yet from them.

I think some of the Melda Production UIs make them look more complicated than they really are.
I did some beta for them and they are pretty solid and sound good, but my go to has been REmatrix since it was added to Sonar.
I would upgrade but it seems high with all the other reverbs I have. lol

I haven't had the issue with saving impulses yet, but I'm sure I will sooner than later.

I looked over the databases for both the included and the user ir's. The tables are very different in design.

More to the point even if you were to modify the tables structure of the user ir's the plugin does not include the additional columns in its query of the database so it would not result in more organization.

ReMatrix does sort the user ir's but not by name only by the ir length.

If the full version had the possibility of organizing user presets, I might buy it just for that. Craig Anderton asked the question above, but no one replied. Does anyone know if the full version is different?

Just tried the demo. It doesn't look as if imported user IRs can be organized.
