I have the full version and it's not appreciably different in terms of preset/impulse management. The presets and impulses are separated by headers, and you can make banks of presets, but it's really just a long list with no good sorting/filtering capabilities.

I absolutely love the full version, but the preset system is pretty bad. They really need a way to categorize and sort. I'd love a way to filter by attributes like time and such.

Without looking in my daw, if you can make banks of your own presets, does it keep the order you stack them in?
If so that would be better in many cases, like live set lists, but there should be "sort by" options on everything these days regardless lol.

I stand by my first post in this thread. ReMatrix is a really good convolution plug. The UI is great except the adding/managing of my own IR.

I am guessing/speculating the reason Overloud is doing this is to sell IR for the plug.

I own just about everything Overloud has. (If you like old school spring reverb, check out their "SpringAge plug) I really like the company. But that issue with ReMatrix has me not buying the full version until it's resolved.

Hi Sylent,
Not that I can see. There are numbered banks in a list and each contains presets, but I don't see a way to re-order.

The only thing I can think of to do (apart from using another convolution reverb) is to keep impulse files in my own folders separate from Rematrix, and just import them from there whenever I need one. Don't like that very much, to say the least.

If you have lots of IR and ju7st looking for something to inspire you, or to get that room/hall IR that fits the bill, this is a no go for me.

Example: I have Melda's Mmultibandconvoltion plug, and that lets you select any IR you have on any drive of your PC, and you can save it as a favorite. That's what I am taking about. How hard would that be?

Does anybody bother with NI Reflektor bundled with Guitar Rig 5?

Hi DA,
Yep, I do. I like it quite a bit. I think it's reputation suffers a bit because it's bundled inside the Guitar Rig interface and N.I. isn't really known for it's effects line. That said, I really like it. Zero latency, pretty easy on the CPU, you can import sounds, and it's got a preset library in the Guitar Rig interface that is much better than Rematrix.

All that said, I still like Rematrix just because of the flexibility but if you can get past the Guitar Rig interface I think Reflektor is solid.

I did at one time Dok, but have really just forgotten about it. Gonna have to check it out again.
