Hi. I've got Sonar set up to load the default template on start up. Not infrequently, if I haven't already done something in the default template - say, add a plugin to a track - projects I then try to open crash. This doesn't always happen, but, when it does, I can reproduce it any number of times. However, if I do something inside the default template before loading the project - again, this can be something as simple as adding a plugin - the project opens without issue.
 
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you isolated what's causing it? Is it something in the project you're trying to open? Something in the default template? An interaction between the two? Any insight, or even crackpot theories , would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't have an answer, but questions that might add a data point for troubleshooting.
 
Is your Default Template the default Default Template?  Has it been modified? 
 
Does the behavior change if you change your Default Template to a different one?
 
Do you have Preferences>File>Advanced>Allow Only One Open Project at a Time checked or unchecked?
 
Do you still have the same behavior when it is changed?
 
Which Plat release are you using?
