I've started having an odd problem with midi playback in X3d where the samples will randomly drop in key by a few notes. Not sure what could be causing the issue. I rebooted the computer as well as my VS-100 and it continued doing it. I've been using Dimension Pro in this case and posted a sample of what's going on below. Any ideas?

I am having the exact same problem, but with Kontakt instead of Dimension. When the song plays back, that one track is played back in a different key. If I delete the instrument file in Kontakt, and reload, it plays fine. Until I close Sonar, and open it back up, then they track is once again in the wrong key. I have even tried re-recording the midi part, but it happens on the new track also. Any ideas?

Well I figured out the problem and I never would have guessed it... pitchbend got bumped while it was recording. This is what I get for letting my baby play with my keyboards when I'm not using them. Thinks he can do it whenever he wants. :P

In Preferences, you can set Sonar to zero all controllers (including pitche bend) when you stop so things are normal the next time you play.  Also, I always put a Controller 121 and a pitch bend=0 at the top of each MIDI track.

Of course, if you accidentally recorded the pitch bend, these suggestions won't help.   But easy to look in the event list view and see...

I'm just saying this for the future.

Still wondering what my problem is, because I have even re recorded the mid file, and it still happens everytime I close and reopen the project. Wierd thing is, if I play the same notes live that I have in the midi file, they play the correct pitch, but when the midi file plays, is is about 3 half steps lower.
