I will happily take what they give me and keep going. I do not have any better ideas than what the bakers come up with....

I am not the expert and have no expectations of ever becoming one. Sonar does way more than what I'll ever need, and our music sounds good, so what's not to like? Always wanting more makes me feel like a baby bird begging for worms, so I don't do it.

Complete overhaul of the Matrix so it becomes a first class citizen of the Sonar workflow and not a gimmick on the side. That means recording, keyboard cell navigation, independence from the TV, full control on each cell, and of course bug fixes.

Would also like arranger and chord views.

Certainly don't expect all (or any) of this by Xmas, in fact we know we're just getting some silly "style dials", but I'd like to see this feature set delivered in 2016 to make Sonar a competitive DAW for electronic music producers.

Let's go Cakewalk!

Sonar has many pieces of great potential and most of them have been given some love in the last year (as opposed to years past).  I hope the Matrix will get its turn.  I'm sure that if you detail (if you haven't already done so) what exactly you'd like to see, Cakewalk will listen and integrate it into their plans for the future.  This last year has me amazed at seeing longstanding issues being resolved (to the point that I wonder where the inspiration is coming from).  Sonar is a suite of different ways of approaching music and we're getting very close to the point that they all work well.  Matrix isn't mentioned much during the everyday, but I'm sure that if requirements were clearly expressed by those that need it, they would get attention and attract more interest.

I'd also like a Delay pro-channel module...

Another +1 to bug fixes..

A career in R&D, plus plain old common sense simply wont ever let me accept that a monthly release of old bug fixes, plus new features plus new bugs is a rational way forward as a development methodology...I stated so in the beginning, and through the year i have been put off each successive release due to issues created within that release.

My #1 goal is stability and predictability, not the opportunity to roll the dice every month.

Unfortunately that's all Roland...

Why is it listed under the Cakewalk Hardware section?

No idea why it's still there...  But you had asked about updated drivers, and those would have to come from Roland - CW has never developed those.
