Hey Buds,

I wasn't sure what to call this thread, but thought this might at least be worth a look for live use.

I've experienced this very dilemma with my acoustic [even though I installed a decent pick-up], but this sure seems like a simple fix for it.

Check it out!

I've used the Fishman Aura pedal for some years and that's good as well

I just saw this add today and am interested in it.
I don't see a price or release date yet, so I guess we will have
to wait a bit to try this one out.

Hmm...neat. Looks like it's got even more options to fiddle with.

I think the p/u I put in was also from Fishman, but it's been so long ago that I really don't remember now.

But it would make sense that these guys followed up with something like this for their p/u's.

How long has that unit been around Nigel?

I own a TC BH 250 bass head  http://www.tcelectronic.com/bh250/
And it is a company that make top shelf equipment. If that pedal was made by anyone else I would be sceptical. So might be worth a test drive in a music store or buy on line with a good return policy.

Yup - I have 2 TC products - one being my SK48 Audio Interface which I've had for years and  totally dig.
Great quality - [and top notch reverb to boot!]

But you're right - there's no telling who it's made by.

Firstly have to agree re TC products - I have quite a few (Fireworx, G Force, Voice Tone Double, Powercore) and they are all exceptional well built and totally reliable. Also even though they stopped development on Powercore, they have continued to support it as far as registrations etc go and have even extended the deadline for this help - pretty good I feel, especially when you think of how some other software companies behave themselves - NI Kore, Camel Everything, and many many others!!!!

I've had the Aura Spectrum around 2 / 3 years I think - been a great pedal for me - it is beautifully built and seems totally reliable.

Just checked Sweetwater re the Bodyrez - going to be $100 - much cheaper than the Fishman!

I have a bunch of TC stuff, a voiceworks, a g-system, pedals and among the herd is the Play Acoustic, which includes the "bodyrez" stuff.
I am unclear as to the extent of what the pedal version offers in options or control however there is a solid improvement in acoustic tone using this technology in the play acoustic.
the Play Acoustic allows full control over the low, hi (f, dB) and 2 parametric mid bands (f, dB, Q) of the heart of the bodyrez..an EQ.
