TBird will have issues with flash.  At least they have a menu bar.
I can't stand Chrome.  Miss google groups.  Anything and everything needs to be done with hotkeys.
Edge is the next developers challenge and how well they can dumb it down.

The leaves IE.  For whatever reason the above browsers you can create shortcuts to web pages on desktop.  FF can with an extension.  As for Chrome - who cares?  Edge you can open one made with IE.

I like my webpage shortcuts.  I put them in folders if I need to on the desktop.  I use Roboform which also means browser limitations. Sorry nothing comes close to Roboform either.

Despite all of the negatives about IE I might go back to it if the browsers keep changing by having less features. I have no clue how people can operate dumbed down less featured browsers on phones.

I don't get the less functionality on a browser.   They all suck to some major degree.  Soon FF will change and Roboform users will not have that sweet functionality and be as annoying as Chrome.  Developers seem to live in their own world these days and have no clue how a human functions.  See Frys Food phone apps.  Developers (outside of the DAW world) are on the list of denying parachutes next to politicians.

I still use all of them. Well the big 3 anyway. Edge, Chrome, Firefox. By far Chrome the most though.

The reason the developers are doing this Kite is that the vast majority of users never see the internet through anything but the screen on a cellphone!

Let that soak in for a minute.

They watch hours upon hours of movies, Facebook, twitter, youtube and such through the screen on a cellphone.

Going mobile................ Pete was ahead of his time!!

It still sucks.  I just can't do that stuff on a phone.  They all suck.

Cable companies and internet providers are losing to phone providers.

All these kids and their phones still can't see **** on a board. I've never seen a generation full of auditory and visual deficiencies.

I googled "though". Too many links. Did you have a specific one in mind that was particularly bad?

I've used Chrome for years and don't even notice I'm using it. That's how a browser should be - a transparent host for websites. I can't think of one problem I have with it. I really don't know what it is that you're trying to do with it that you're having a problem with. Yes, it lets you drag websites onto the desktop to make a shortcut. Although personally I see no reason to clog up my desktop with shortcuts when I can manage all of my bookmarks inside of Chrome, and export them if need be.

There was once a time when browsers had really frustrating issues with them. Maybe 10 years ago. These days, I feel like they're all good enough. Even Edge.
