I think if you check out the coffee house you may see his point.

Especially the FSF.  I confess to making my own contributions there too.

The main reason I don't use Firefox is that it seemed to be having some issues with AdBlocker the last time I used it, i.e. pages slowing down or even freezing. The problem stopped when I turned AdBlocker off, but to be honest I'd rather watch QVC for 24 hours straight than surf the net without it.

Oh and there's another great reason to use Chrome - they're about to disable autoplay videos by default. I hate those frigging things, they're the scourge of the internet. You can't read a single article on a news site these days without hearing some stupid jingle followed by the banal tones of a plastic local TV news anchor. There's a reason why I don't have a TV, and it's because I cannot bear the look and sound of the mainstream media. So imagine my horror when they started forcing that crap on us with those videos. Chrome is going to end it all.

Give uBlock Origin a shot.  Works equally well with both Chrome and Firefox.  Has the same filters as Adblock Plus, with many more options available!

firefox (and waterfox, the x64 build) is the only major non-commercial (not owned/developed by a big multinational) open-source browser - it's a very precious thing!

Google though...............

I googled "though". Too many links. Did you have a specific one in mind that was particularly bad?

Seeing as you're responsible for the biggest pile of crap on the whole of the www I think it's only fair that you should have to read them all.

And then write it all out 100 times.

Did I just wake up over at KVR?  Dude, waht???

No mate.  Bapu knows.
