I'm evaluating Dmg Equilibrium .when I insert it ,it is routed as mono and it has an awfull off phase sound.
It doesn't occur with the vst 2 version.
I rolled back to Jamaica and all is OK.
All the best and thank to all the team for the job done.

This may be a bug in equilibrium. Sonar now supports setting true mono in vst3 and it works in some other plugins. It was in fact a fix. Well look into it and also contact the developer if necessary.

By the sounds of it it's not just equilibrium. Kingston is causing issues with my plugs (IRIS2 being the worst offender with a 100% crash rate (it brings down Sonar Platinum, not just the plugin). I'm having the noise issues, some weird validation issues all of sudden with iLok (*head shake*--> iLok) and I've lost my sustain pedal (which works fine on everything except Sonar now.

I'd say if you're having problems and the rollback solves them (like several others have already written about), then avoid Kingston until there's a patch.

I had trouble with the elicenser that Steinberg uses. It got corrupted during the upgrade and I had to D/L a new version. I think it's the same company that does iLock.

I have no issues with Iris 2. It is installed using challenge/response instead of ILok. I do have some plug-ins which are iLok and Pace protected such as Eventide. Xils Labs and AIR which all used disk based protection instead of a dongle. They all work OK for me in Kingston on Win10. I also elected not to update from iLok License Manager 2.5.2 ATM.

Noel ,
thanks a lot for being so responsive .I'm confident in the fact that this issue will be solved,
I've mentionned this fact in a mean to share information ,as far as Equilibrium is quite efficient but also quite expensive ,it is worth to make it work properly and if the bug comes from the plug-in ,then it will be easier to talk about it between developers.
All the best and have a nice Thanks-Giving.

I am having squealing noises coming from Cakewalk Sound Centre on all projects and the standalone synth since downloading Kingston and Rapture sessions.

Vilovilo - I'm using Equilibrium here, and the VST3 version seems OK.
However, on a mono guitar part - in a stereo interleave track - Equilibrium VST3 still comes up as a mono plug, with no way of changing it.

I'm not sure this is what I'd want - as I have some streo plugins on th etrack and I'd want the eq to come *after* these (so I'd want it to be stereo)

The VST2 version is fine.

Actually - the VST3 version instantiates itself as mono, even on an empty (stereo interleave) track.
This isn't good. I think it's best to stick with the VST2 version for now...

YHi jbraner,
This is exactly what happens here no way to change the routing in VST3, I'm confident in the fact that a fix will come soon wether from Cakewalk or from Dave Gamble.

Cheers ,
Olivier
