Hi All.  I setup a drum map and created a drum sequence using the Step Sequencer view and the Addictive Drums 2 synth.  I thought I had saved the sequence (it does play on one of my tracks), but now that I want to change the sequence I cannot seem to recall it.  When I open the Step Sequencer view, I get a blank sequence.  Can someone tell me how I can open the step sequencer to the view with which I created the sequence?  I created a 4-bar sequence and then stretched it to fill 5 minutes of my project.  Thanks.

How are you opening the Step Sequencer view? Try double clicking the midi clip in the Track view. This shows the Step Sequencer view for me.

Bingo ! Thank you !  So simple a solution.  I was clicking on the step sequencer icon after double-clicking the synth in the browser window to open the Addictive Drums synth.

Glad to be of help. Your steps will create a new clip at the current Now time, by the looks of it. That would explain why it was empty.

When I created the drum map I found that there are more drum sounds than are displayed in the Addictive Drums window when I double-click on Addictive Drums in the browser pane, Synth tab. So I added all the drum sounds in the Step Sequence view.  Is there any way I can force all the available sounds to be displayed in the Addictive Drums window so that I can adjust their parameters too?  For example, I found that MIDI note 89 is a cymbal, but in the Addictive Drums window, after I click the Edit button,  along the bottom where the volume sliders are displayed, there are no sliders displayed for cymbals. When I click the Kit button, the cymbals are displayed.
 
UPDATE - I think I found the solution.  In the Kit view of the AD2 window, in the upper right corner for the cymbal, there is an "E" which I think stands for "edit". When I click the "E" it appears that I do get an edit window for the cymbal as clicking displays the same view as if I clicked on the "Edit" button. I'll have to look in the manual to see if my observation is documented. Unfortunately, not all parameters are enabled. The Volume Envelope pane is not enabled.
 
UPDATE 2 - I found THAT solution. One just has to click on the upper left icon for the parameter in the Edit view. That icon apparently toggles the parameter on and off.  I love Sonar.

Sorry, I'm not sure I followed all of that, but cymbals do have a volume slider. When you click the E button in the Kit view, it switches to the Edit view and highlights the relevant slider. For cymbals it's the OH slider. Not sure if this helps...
