Anybody seeing this or is it me and my PC?
MMC is working perfectly on Sonar X3 32bit  but not even installing on The 64bit version.
So this only those who have 64bit installed can help me.
Any ideas?

Anybody using Sonar X3b 64 bit to tell me if he is seeing this?
All I need to know is if you open the control surface settings can you see MMC with the other surfaces.I`m not asking if it works ,just if you can see it.

have win7/64 and x3b and mmc settings are in preferences>project>midi and i see the options there.. i dont use it..solely use start/stop/continue etc

I have used my Maschine Micro with X3b 64bit.  using 64bit VST plugin.
 
Not sure what your having issue with MMC?
 
I haven't played that much - just tested to see if plugin showed up and library was accesable.  Reloading all my plugins after purchasing a new computer.

I need to know on Win 8 not Win 7 ,but Thanks that`s a start.
Not in preferences>project>midi but the control surface window ,where you  add a control surface,where you find the Mackie control ,generic surface ect.
 
MachineClaw,so you are seeing it as an option with the others,Mackie Control,Generic surface,Motormix ect?There should also be MMC  with them,I have it on the 32bit version of Sonar X3b.

win7pro/64 bit and X3b Producer (64bit) here.  I see the same thing Mystic38 does.
 
Edit Menu ->Preferences->Project/MIDI at the top are Midi Machine Control (MMC) option.  Transmit MMC check box, Other options check boxes, Send MIDI Sync options and MIDI Sync Outut Ports options.
 
On the Preferences window at the VERY bottom are radal options for Basic and Advanced - I don't see any other difference under the Project MIDI screen (no additional options.

Edit  - Preferences - Midi  -  Control Surface  -  Add a control surface (*) Then comes this window where you choose 1st option is control surface,2nd and 3rd options are the midi ports settings.
