No not there ,you have to go ...
 
Edit  - Preferences - Midi  -  Control Surface  -  Add a control surface (*) Then comes this window where you choose 1st option is control surface,2nd and 3rd options are the midi ports settings.

if you mean in the control surface drop down list where you see Mackie, generic ACT etc then "MMC" as a control surface type isn't there..and tbh I don't remember ever seeing MMC as a control surface type..

Yes in the 32bit version it`s there and it works perfect but in the 64bit it`s nowhere.
That is there to control transport function only.

Having the same issue here, trying to sync an MPC 1000 and the suggested device type is MMC, which isn't showing up as an option from the preferences location you described for me either.

The thread is quite old...
 
There is no dedicated MMC, but you can use Generic Surface / ACT MIDI / my plug-in to "learn" MMC buttons. Read chapter 40 in the Sonar Reference Guide how to do this.
 
Just for information: MMC are SysEx MIDI messages.
