Hi,

I am thinking of getting a Logitech wireless mouse, the g602

I wonder whether it would be possible to bind different actions, i.e. zoom in/out in Sonar to the mouse buttons.

Any one here using a Logitech mouse?

Hi. I do not have a multi button Logitech mouse, but I believe that you can assign keystrokes to any button. I know my son does this for gaming with his multi button mouse. I think you will be ok. Others may know better.
All the best.

It should work. The mouse itself is not the key but the software that intercepts mouse key actions and converts them to look like keystrokes or mouse actions. You can even use it as a macro editor to program a series of keystrokes and pauses. To Sonar it should look as if you are just typing on your keyboard, so the Sonar key combinations could be assigned to a button. But you would have to be sure that you have installed, programmed, and started the gaming software  so that the mouse does not just send default mouse or nonsense messages to Windows.

I have Logitech M705. I use side buttons for Ctrl and Alt (in all programs). And I use thumb button for Middle Button, because actual middle button (under wheel) is 100% unusable. As for g602, middle button could fail soon, as I know.
