i purchased sonar platinum a few months ago (monthly purchase.) and had a lot of issues. i wanted to give the program another chance, so i renewed my subscription. the question is, do you not get the newest update ? when i reloaded the software  it was the foxboro update. will i still get the updates every omth as i continue to subscribe? and what happens to the ones that i missed? thanks in advance.

Use CCC to update to the current version. It's a cumulative so you have every SONAR change since you left in the latest update. You will miss out on any "extras" like if a Craig Anderton "freebie" was released on a month you were not a member, you won't get that. But you will always be up to date (assuming you run CCC to get it) on any month that you are paid up on.
