Putting dots is not very convenient while automating volumes or pans. I am sure its my lack of knowledge, there must be a better way. I see protools user just highlight the part of envelope they want to lower or raise, as soon as they highlight, that part has the start and finish dots (like a separate clip) and then they raise or lower then volume/pan...2 click process. Please help.

Same in Sonar.

You first need to either select the envelope directly from the track by clicking the Edit Filter and choose the relevant envelope, or enable automation lanes and select it there. Bear in mind that Lane height in the individual lanes is restricted to about a third of a fully expanded track so make your choice depending on the level of precision required.

Now you can (1) swipe across the required range, but make sure your cursor is in the lower half of the track/lane.
With the range selected, move your cursor to the top of the track/lane and the cursor changes to 2 small up/down arrows separated by a capital I on it's side, (2) now just drag up/down and 4 nodes will be created for you.

At any time you can control & click on a section to move it again

Listed as out of stock. I can't find a way to get it.

Check the link in my signature. There's a shortcut viewing utility in there somewhere as well as some docs in the Onedrive/Public/Sonar folder.

I've copied all the shortcuts listed in the Sonar Reference guide and made a multi page document printed landscape then laminated.

Reference guide found in Program Files/Cakewalk/Sonar Platinum/ folder

That's weird. It's just a picture, no serial, no installer. If it's legal, I can upload 3 pics in different resolutions to some approved server, like DropBox, or Google Drive.
