STEPS
a) Make sure you have a dual monitor setup

b) Install Sonar X1 then patch to X1c (I'm just demonstrating that this happens the first time this softsynth has loaded, and that I didn't move the dialogue somewhere else).

c) Start Sonar X1, Sonar should start on your primary monitor.

d) Open a project

e) Insert PerfectSpace (1.4.0.0) into track by right clicking FX Bin. Perfectspace will now be on your primary monitor.

f) Click Preset Button. Or Or click the File Menu button (which will load an impulse file).

EXPECTED

Model diagloue box for files etc appears on primary monitor

ACTUAL

Model dialogue box appears on secondary monitor (not good if you have the monitor switched off!). I've not seen this behaviour with any other softsynth!

NOTE
Dialogue should appear on the same monitor where the soft synth is displayed.

There are no presets in PS.  You load in an impulse.  then you can make your own preset - including the internal fx like EQ etc.

Thanks, I've altered the original post a little... I hope I can get feedback with these steps supplied, with users running Win7/64 bit/X1C 64 bit.

In fact the issue in the end was quite simple, it helps to switch on your secondary monitor!! Still a trivial UI bug exists here which I've logged with Cakewalk... also I've updated my post with the real steps to repro.

I just had the same thing happen and it was driving me crazy till I finally found this post. Turned on second monitor and there were my impulse files.  Have they ever adressed this?   Dan
