Sonar 8.5.3, Kontakt 5.4.1.211, Chris Hein Horns: Trumpets on CH1, Bones on CH2.
 
The source tracks are sending MIDI but I get nothing from the plug. Kontakt's virtual keyboard doesn't make a sound either. I've tried setting everything to Omni but no change. I tried taking two notes out of my triad to see if polyphony had anything to do with it but still no sound. Installation? It worked yesterday...

Can you play the synth live vs. the recorded tracks?
 
Where is the volume slider itself set in the Kontakt UI and/or is there a volume envelope?

Yes, the synth works using the Kontakt keyboard, vol in Kontakt is -3 and no envelopes. I've had the problem from time to time but never figured out why it happens. I can correct it by removing and reinserting the offending instrument. It doesn't happen with all instruments, usually Omnisphere, Atmosphere and Trilian.
