I'm pretty certain this has been discussed but...

I just upgraded to Platinum.  All seems well there but when I inserted D-Pro into an audio track I'm being asked for a registration number.  I used the one that came with the purchase but it's not working- probably because it's an older serial number popping in (from a previous purchase of Dimension Pro 1.5).  So I tried the registration number associated with THAT purchased and still no go.  Any help would be appreciated.

Run the stand alone Dimension Pro as administrator and use the credentials supplied in https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products for D-Pro in the Connected Production section.

You have to use Run As Administrator to start Dimension Pro to be able to register it. After that, you can start up normally.

Or, if you launch Sonar in Run As Administrator mode and insert Dim-Pro, the registration will also complete properly that way.  Either way, it is a one-time thing.

On a different note, I had the same registration problem, fixed it courtesy of the previous advice, but some of the expansion packs are missing such as Vintage Keys and the sound effects. Any clues guys?

Have you tried opening the DimPro browser and hitting the F5 key to update the browser?

Yes. I tried it within Sonar and as stand alone. They are not there. I've reinstalled a couple of times too, but no success.

I think everybody using DimPro stand-alone runs into this DimPro oddity.
All the more curious is that Rapture does NOT need Run as Admin.
 
Why not take the mini-host code used for Rapture and adapt it for DimPro?
