(Just for clarification, I'll state right from the start that this is regarding the update 1 within Kingston, not the initial Kingston update.)

I downloaded and attempted to install Update 1 for Kingston from the Command Center, but I got an error message that wouldn't allow me to complete the installation.

Here is the message:

________________________
Error
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Bitbridge.dll

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or
Abort to cancel installation.
________________________

After attempting Retry twice, I ended up just aborting the installation.

Any ideas on what I should do about this?

I was just getting back on here to say that that's what I did and I was able to install it okay.
Cheers!

Glad you got that worked out.

Is the initial Kingston update even available still?

I just added that clarification in case people came across this thread and forgot, or didn't know, that there was an additional update within Kingston. Probably an unnecessary bit of information, but I like to be thorough when I'm asking for help troubleshooting issues.

Cool, and Thanks.

I was just wondering because I haven't updated yet (still in the middle of some projects and don't like to update till complete) and wanted to get a heads up.  Your extra bit of information was helpful in me getting the answer ahead of time.
