I installed the new DimPro and Rapture update.
Rapture started up with the new serial number and I registered it with the reg code.
The version number is 1.22, which I guess is the new version.
So Rapture installed OK.
 
DimPro took much longer to install - mostly libraries.
But when I started it up, it still had the old serial number and only accepted the old reg code.
And the version number is still 1.5.0.11
 
I have searched over my entire hard drive, and the only dll is the one in
c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins\dimension pro
and it is dated from 2010.
The multisamples are, however, current.
 
Must one do something special to get the vst plug dll installed as well?

The DPro and Rapture binaries and content have not changed in some time. The recent changes shown in the Command Center are changes to the installers required by the Command Center.

But the version number in "My Products" is 1.5.5.16
and install file is named D-Proinstall_1.5.5.16.exe
yet after installing that download I still have version 1.5.0.11.

The Command Center sounds like it is working in a 'normal' way.  Rapture Pro includes Dimension Pro so the only items that would load for DP are the sound libraries.  You still have the older version of DP, but you probably wouldn't use it as the new version is inside Rapture Pro.
     Start Rapture Pro, then navigate with the browser (leftmost pane) to the section of sounds listed under Dimension Pro.  You might also find Sound Center files in that area. When you open a DP sound file, you'll have access to the DP editor and controls.  Does that make sense?

You have the most recent dll installed. The installers have their own version numbers. I recently installed everything on a new machine. The most recent 64bit DPro dll is 1.5.0.11 last modified 30 Aug 2010.

Really?!? Well, OK then. A bit confusing...
