Hi Sonarists

Did some melodyning on several short (2-3 second) sections of a vocal clip and had some problems. First, the volume dropped several dB on each section Melodyne touched. I responded by adjusting the volume back up using the Amplitude tool. After I had the track the way I wanted I went back and rendered each individual Melodnye section (using the clip menu). After that, each Melodyne section sounded like it had a lawn mower running through it - very buzzy. Any suggestions? I am planning to try bouncing the track to see if that helps. But, aside from that, I'm thinking I'll have to rerecord the track.

Thanks

Tom

In the past when I had volume changes on a bounce to clip melodyne clip is was because either

a) I had the track level set at other than 0db
2) I had FXs enabled that altered the level of the output

Now, I ALWAYS move my clips to a blank new track for melodyning then move them back after I bounce to clip.

Don't know if that will help but it's worth a try.

I can't imagine what the mototboating is but it may be related.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I know my level was not set at 0dB and had no fx inserted.
