Yes, VST scanning is quicker now. And my clarification was actually aimed at Noel's response, which made me think perhaps I was coming across as if I don't expect improvements, when I certainly do. It's just that up to now, I did not have a noticeable speed increase, and particularly in sample loading and vst scanning. So again, it's really a pleasure loading up projects now compared to before Kingston.
Guess I'll be re-upping my Membership next month, or whenever the yearly cycle starts. I was on the fence, but this makes me more invested. Heck, I've only upgraded dozens of times through the years, anyway.
Of course, I'm still waaaaay behind in utilizing most of the other new features, like aux tracks and patch points--I'm just not savvy in that regard, with most of my experience being with Sonar/Cakewalk, and no "real" live studio routing experience. But always willing to learn new tricks, for sure. Next on my list: recording the metronome to have a serviceable click track, routed separately.
