In a Rapture track, I want to draw an envelop for the modulation wheel. The Rapture automation destinations appear as options for automation, but, as you know, the mod wheel is not a destination; it is a modulation source. For the Rapture track, however, there is no option to draw a MIDI envelope, like there would be for a MIDI track. How can I create or draw an envelop to control the modulation wheel as a modulation source for a Rapture modulation destination? thanks Keith

I explored this a little further. I can record modulation wheel activity from my MIDI controller into a separate MIDI track. If the output of the MIDI track is directed to Rapture, Rapture responds to the modulation wheel activity. However, if I create a MIDI envelope for the modulation wheel (CC01) in a MIDI track, with the output directed to Rapture, Rapture does not respond to this envelope. I can't seem to draw a MIDI envelope for modulation wheel events to which Rapture will respond. What am I doing wrong? thanks Keith

For anyone who cares ... This appears to be a Sonar problem and not a Rapture one. Other SW synthesizers exhibit the same issue. However, if I reassign the track mapping to the SAME controller, it works.

Is this (having to re-assign the MIDI envelope to the same controller it was crated for in the first place) a feature, or a bug?
