Thanks buddy!

Hi Tony...

Here's what I see...

Installed Bonjour
Installed rptMIDI
Installed neyrink

Open rptmidi
Rptmidi my sessions checked for the DAW I am running and enable checked. Mine shows port 5004
Local and bonjour name is the same as the session
And anyone can connect to me...

Run neyrink

Open a sonar
Preferences
MIDI
Devices
Make sure vcontrol and your DAW are checked in both in/out
Control surfaces
Setup new
Use Mackie 1 template
Select vcontrol for both its input/output and WAI is checked

At this point I found I needed to reboot Sonar before it worked...

In vcontrol, you need to select the DAW as well as Sonar and you should be done.

While checking this for you I found it not working in SPlat so I had to do some of this to get it working. It was already working in X3e so I guess I haven't had to use it lately?

But it does now run in both... I hope I didn't miss any details for you...

Let me know if this helps...

Thanks again, I'm waiting for a replacement charger for my laptop, when that arrives, I'll try it out. I must ask though, what's the SPlat?

I disable my NIC (Ethernet) when recording.  If I were to use a controller with my iPad I would have to enable it so I could access my router.  I don't want to do that.

I have a Frontier Tranzport (wireless).  It would be nice to have an updated version of that but the company no longer makes them.

I'm not sure why you need to disable it....unless it's WLAN?
